Grandma's visit

Grandma Karen came out for a week to visit Owen (and us of course) and we all loved it! She's such a good Grandma and read the same book to Owen at least 15 times while she was here (once I counted 4 times in a row). Owen wasn't in top form since he's teething and had a fantastically runny/stuffy nose the whole time. We (or I should say I) named him booger boy for the week. Owen took to grandma right away and gave her big smiles despite the snot smeared on his face and hair (really). He also loved her glasses and pulling her hair and even gave her a spit up on her fleece the day she was going to leave - a little something to remember him by. We didn't do a whole lot since he wasn't feeling super but made it to Yakima one day for some shopping and around town for a change of scenery.
Owen is now 8 1/2 months and can crawl anywhere he can get to and pulls up on the coffee table and sofa and is speedy to get to a cell phone or purse left unattended at eye level. He also has a fondness for licking the bottom of shoes causing us to throw them into the closet in a heaping pile that takes forever to find a matching pair later. He has decided he loves bathtime now and Grandma got to help and get soaked from him splashing in the water.
I think Grandma has more pictures on her new camera and if she sends them to us I will add them to the post or make a new one to update more of what we did. I had fun learning how to work her camera and so we used that one just as much as our own.
