Just some pictures of Owen's latest adventures...he licks the back window, stands on and in his toys as he plays and also crawls over them - seems he likes obstacle courses. We visited some of our friends and their daughter Skyler, who just turned one. Owen was pretty much interested in anything she was doing and what she was playing with. Skyler just did her own thing and looked at Owen as he approached her toys. Not much interaction yet, just curiosity. He definitely liked her "big kid" toys though. When we got home he seemed very dissatisfied with his little toys that are only good for chewing and crawling over. He has decided he likes to stand when he plays - kind of like when he learned to sit - that's all he wanted to do is sit and play, not lay down. We have some generous friends in Ellensburg who have loaned us some "bid kid" toys for Owen to stand and play with...we're doing some toy swaps between kids to keep them entertained - hopefully through the long cold winter ahead - ha!

Owen also has days when he sticks his tongue out all day! I'm guessing those are some teething days but who knows...That is pretty much what he looked like all day in that picture. Those are also the days that not much food makes it in that mouth because his tongue doesn't even go in while eating...AND he just blows his food out with a big huff (while his tongue is still out of course).
