Last Monday Kathy and Byron braved the ice and snow and came to stay with Owen and me while Ken went to Schweitzer in Idaho. Owen loved having them here (so did I) and their visit was over too soon though if they had waited much longer they might still be here! The roads conditions are still a bit iffy so we're glad they headed home when they did so they could make it safely.
Owen took an interest in Byron's briefcase as well as his shiny silver coffee mug so we had to find Owen his own coffee cup. Owen also wanted to read the paper when Byron did so Owen got the money section (who's interested in that anyway! just kidding. sort of.) :)
Kathy and Byron also brought a new toy for Owen - the cardboard diaper box. Oh, and the diapers! Owen loved it when both Grandma and Grandpa read to him and was sad to see them leave.
